Collierville property owners are fortunate to have their public library, which is a treasure trove of great books for kids, teens, and adults. It also has an extensive collection of CDs and DVDs available for check out and a growing collection of electronic books and magazines and audio books. If it’s not at the hometown library, people who live in Collierville can request books from nearby Germantown or get them through the interlibrary loan system.

The library hosts many events throughout the week. Young children are encouraged in a love of books during storytimes on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The very youngest children, up to age 18 months, can attend Babygarten, and enjoy songs and stories. A teen book club meets monthly at the Collierville property. Children’s theater productions are held on weekends. Come on Sunday, April 10th, from 1:30 to 2:15 p.m. for Bright Star Theater’s performance of Upcycled Cinderella Classes for adults, to help them gain confidence with digital technology are held regularly. Registration for a digital photography class opens on April 9th, with the class to be held on April 23rd. Support the library by getting involved with the Friends of the Library and come to the book sale on Thursday April 7th through Saturday April 9th.
