The Memphis Comedy Festival was founded in 2011 and has become one of the event that people who live in Memphis look forward to every year. This year, the festival will run from March 31st through April 3rd. There are so many great shows, it’s hard to choose which to attend. On Thursday evening, try an improv workshop with Chris Trew, then sign up for the P and H Open Mic. For Friday, get tickets for the Stand-up Showdown, a competition between comedians to see who can come up with the best routine on a topic they receive at noon of the day of the show.
Hilarity Ensues on Memphis Property During the Festival
Festival-goers who live in Memphis can come to the Hangover Mic on Saturday morning, and nurse their headaches while laughing quietly. See the Stand-up Showcases, featuring comedians from all over the country. Enjoy a few hours of wild and weird comedy at the Late Late Breakfast on Saturday afternoon. Finish out the festival on Sunday evening at Wrestlemania Watch Party, held at downtown Memphis property at Wiseacre Brewery Taproom. Beer, comedy, and wrestling are the mad-cap trio of the event.
