All Memphis property owners are invited to come experience some beautiful and unique art at the Belz Museum of Asian and Judaic Art. This facility houses the biggest collection of Chinese art available in the South. Many of the artifacts come from the Qing dynasty in power from 1644-1911, but this Chinese collection does have items from as early as 202 BC and as late as the early 20th century. Guests can view items such as carved jades, sculptures, paintings, funeral art, and ceramics. The Judaica collection features many of Israel’s contemporary artists with a very large collection from Daniel Kafri. Guests can view 32 bronze relief sculptures, which Kafri has made in an effort to illustrate the Bible. Many other pieces relating to Judaism are available to view as well.
